Job Description
The past years have seen a dramatic shift in the primary medium used for information consumption. The ubiquitous smartphone is becoming the dominant form factor for many consumers, replacing desktops and laptops for multimedia streaming, news consumption, social interaction, and so much more.
As a part-time Product Developer, you'll be collaborating with other developers and UI/UX designers to deliver mobile applications that complement our lineup of data management products and IT solutions.
You will:
- Take part in developing iOS and Android applications
- Stay on top of the latest OS / SDK / or emerging technology developments
- Help create and refine automated tests and development workflows to improve development pace and usage experience of the app
Requirements
You are expected to:
- Currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program
- Be available for at least three full days a week for a six month period
- Be proficient in an object-orientated programming language, such as C++ or Java
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a desire to learn and improve
We're targeting candidates with:
- Proficiency using SWIFT / Kotlin / Objective-C / Java
- Familiarity developing for iOS and Android
- A passion for keeping up with the latest technologies introduced each year at Apple WWDC and Google I/O developer events
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Fastlane
