Job Description

Synology designs data management solutions engineered to enable businesses to continue turning the wheels of innovation. As a Product Developer in one of Synology’s most fundamental software teams, you’ll be working on core functionality that our storage solutions depend on.
You will:
- Integrate subsystems/applications into Synology DSM
- Design and develop reliable and high-performance systems for Synology solutions
- Develop efficient system monitoring solutions
- Improve the performance and reliability of existing frameworks
Requirements
You are expected to have:
- Good programming and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Linux OS and system programming in Linux environments
- Prior experience in developing web-based user interfaces
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Genuine passion for developing high-performance/reliable system and learning new techniques
We're targeting candidates with:
- Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Experience in developing Linux-based OS
- Experience in full life cycle of system implementation (analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support)
