As a Product Marketing Manager in the System Product Management team, you will be responsible for growing the core storage foundation and business solutions by establishing a compelling product value proposition and communicating it to our customers.

Job Description

How a product performs in the market is highly dependent on how well the planning for the product was done in advance. Behind each product should be a well-thought-out plan that ensures accurate product placement and exposure. As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll need to be highly cross-functional. You will work closely within the product development team to define product positioning, analyze the market, and help with external communications. You will help shape the product's representation and successfully grow the product's user base.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for working with regional and global marketing teams to create a comprehensive product launch plan, ensuring solid execution to deliver the correct message to our customers.

You will:
- Be responsible for Synology’s industry-leading data management solutions, including Synology Drive, DSM, C2 Storage, and more
- Understand your products, define the target audience, and determine which messages should be delivered to customers through the appropriate channels
- Perform market and customer research, dig into the details behind purchase decisions, find out how other competitors are positioning their products, and develop valuable market insight
- Collaborate on the development and execution of the product’s go-to-market strategy and content marketing materials by working together with other marketing teams
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and share the results with relevant teams

Requirements

You are expected to have:
- 3+ years of marketing, product management, product marketing, or relevant work experience
- Experience working in consumer electronics, server, or enterprise IT markets
- Clear and concise communications skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
