We are looking for engineers that can make an impact, bringing in fresh ideas from different areas to help expand our team of high-energy developers.

職務說明

Networking lies at the core of NAS. As a member in the network team, you are responsible for providing a fast, reliable, and stable network environment through developing, testing, and strengthening the network infrastructure for the NAS system. The position offers you the opportunity to expand your expertise and know more about the underlying network infrastructure of NAS at the system level.

You will:
- Regularly work on projects that use common network protocols, including ARP, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, and PPPoE, and network virtualization applications, including VPN, VLAN, and Open vSwitch
- Build and deploy GeoIP and firewalls to enhance network security
- Create a more reliable and flexible network infrastructure for Synology High Availability and other clustered server architectures

職務需求

You are expected to be:
- Proficient in C/C++
- Familiar with Unix/Linux environments
- Familiar with computer systems

We're targeting candidates who are:
- Familiar with computer networks
- Familiar with Linux kernel network stack
- Experienced in developing software in Linux
